Starting an ortho-k specialty practice is no small feat—we’ve been there, and we know the challenges firsthand. With so many lens options out there—trial fitting, empirical fitting, topography-guided—it can be tough to know where to start. Then there’s the big decision of which equipment you may need and the pressure of picking the right one, as it’s not a small investment. You may be find it challenging to explain ortho-k to your patients and how to present the fees. Or you may find yourself trying to figure out what to charge, and be overwhelmed, especially when the office down the street charges something completely different.

We’ll help you with each step.

There’s also the fitting process itself—how do you choose the right candidate and feel confident in the decisions you make with your adjustments? How do you manage fits when they don’t go as expected? Have you struggled to achieve a bulls-eye fit and worked with the lab without success? Depending on HVID, original K’s, shape factor, and refraction, (to name a few), fitting an ortho-k lens isn’t always straight-forward.
